The youngest pilgrim.
While walking to Hospital de Órbigo, there was
a couple with a baby on the camino. The baby was being fussy and they were
accommodating him. I greeted them “Buen camino.” I asked them “Todo bien?” with
my thumbs up. They said yes.
They later arrived at the same albergue I was
saying in and the child wowed the host. The dad was Dutch and the woman was
Japanese and they had a 4 month old. He had an easy disposition while at the
reception. It must not be easy to have a baby on the camino. And the couple
were walking half stages.
