The Getty Center

The Getty Center opened in Los Angeles in 1997. I have been wanting to go to this museum for a while, so the return trip was an opportunity to visit Sean and see the venue. It is a spectacular museum by Richard Meier of largely European Art lies on 750 acres in the San Monica Mountains. It is wonderfully designed with surprises as you walk the grounds. I only wish I had brought sunglasses as the white building was blinding in the LA sun.

Anza Borrego Day 2

There is nothing quite like waking up to the sunrise in the desert. Awesome and inspiring.

Wake up Desiree

This store took me back to the local grocery stores of my childhood. It did have laser scanners, but that was all that was contemporary. It had a small produce section. The store employed a butcher with limited a case of types of meat and an old chicken rotisserie.
