9/5/24 Blisters 2

Yesterday was a better day than the day before. It was good that I sent my backpack via “donkey service.” Today, however, was a little tough. This morning, I sensed that blisters were forming so I put compeed on the areas of my feet. Throughout the walk, I sensed that my feet were burning and I sensed I was walking more slowly and it was harder keeping up with the group. The saving grace is that the day was beautiful–cloudy and cool– and the scenery was gorgeous–harvested fields of wheat, vineyards, and orchards; escarpments, islands of forests and uncultivated land.

I went to the pharmacy to buy more compeed and vaseline. It is not easy.
