Blessed are those who find their strength in you,

Whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.

--Ps 84: 6

"Pilgrimage is of course a fundamental element of every Jubilee event. Setting out on a journey is traditionally associated with our human quest to meaning in life."

The Jubilee is a new beginning, the possibility for everyone to start anew from God. With the  Jubilee we start a new life, a new phase."

"For all of us, may the Jubilee be an opportunity to be renewed in hope."

Basilica de Santo Stefano en Rotondo al Celio, Hungary's National Church in Rome, dedicated to St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr and St. Stephen I, the first canonized king of Hungary, is known for its gruesome depictions of Christian martyrs. While perhaps painted to give Christians fortitude in the face of persecution, they now seem a bit exploitative and explicit.
