Anza Borrego Day 2

There is nothing quite like waking up to the sunrise in the desert. Awesome and inspiring.

I'm actually in a better mood than I look.

On our way back from Anza Borrego, we stopped in the small town of Julian, which was established just after the Civil War. Originally it was a gold rush town producing some $5,000,000, it is now known for the apples it grows.

Cowboy wisdom from the Julian Café

Wisdom is realizing you’re on the wrong trail …again!

If a woman can’t make you miserable, she can’t make you happy!

Sometimes the Lord calms the storm; Sometimes He lets the storm rage, and calms his child.

You are writing a gospel,
A chapter a day—
By deeds that you do,
By words that you say.
Men read what you write
Whether faithless or true,
What is the gospel,
According to you?
