At the Birthday party

It was wonderful how a birthday party was extended by two days by hurricane Irene. Frau Herder told me it was a blessing. It was luxurious to eat, drink, chat and rest with other people while the storm blew over. No animosity. And a great deal of fun. I learned to play Goethe und Schiller.

Still in school

Why is it that it is now two weeks since my summer session ended but I am still working on completing forms, writing papers, reading books? All to be completed before I begin Fall session on Aug 29. Yes that is resentment between the lines.
