PLI Cohort 12

I started the PLI this week. This is group 6. We lost Joe (center, squatting) on day 2. We are still without a name. I like 4 jays and a Pea.

Puerto Vallarta

A friend suggested I go away to a beach to relax before I start PLI (grad school) so two weeks ago I booked a flight to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco to take a trip I usually never take: to do nothing but eat, sleep and relax on a beach.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church off the main plaza.  The crown on the top is beautiful.

How can I not go to Mexico and enjoy good food? Here is machaca con huevos for breakfast.

 The city provides music (danzón, salsa, cumbia, banda) on Sunday evenings for people to dance in the main plaza. It was treat.

Puerto Vallarta has the most beautiful sunsets when the sky is clear.

San Francisco Hike

Rebecca, Connie, Susan and I went on a small 6 mile hike from Sea Cliff through Lands End, and treated ourselves to a late lunch at the Beach Chalet. We feel so fortunate to be in a City that has access to Nature and good food.
